In 2011 the previous Years Lapland Fishing Festival has changed name to: The Lapland Pike Trophy with price for the best pike fisherman-and a price for the biggest perch.

The last year of this festival we like to focus totally on pike.

The aim of the festival is to unite fishermen among Europe, to generate friendship and to show the high lights of sportfishing in Swedish Lapland, as a way to increase the interest among European anglers.

Even if its a competition involved, the atmosphere of LFF is very freindly and down to earth, and we intend to keep it that way.
