The Lapland Fishing Festival- together with its sister competition: The Vefsna Seatrout Festival-
are two vital ingridients within the EU-project Fishing Cross The Border.
The reason for those events is to generate international interest regarding the fishing in this region.
Lapland Fishing Festival rotates between three different municipalities within Swedish Lapland: Storuman (LFF 2008), Sorsele (LFF 2009) and Lycksele (LFF 2010)
The LFF consists of two different competitions: Fly fishing and Pike fishing. You choose what contest You want to compete in. They both have one thing in common-
The generous and friendly atmosphere among competitors. Don´t be surprised if another competitor helps You out with his own equipment.
