Fantastic fishing on The Lapland Pike Trophy
With only 14 competitors the river Ume älv and Stensele magasinet (close to Storuman) have prooved the best pike fishing water ever in the Lapland Fishing Festival. Within 3 h fishing the 14 competitors have caught 99 pike, biggest 113 cm and medium size 60-80 cm. You can also download the attached .xls document below.

WELCOME TO THE LAPLAND PIKE TROPHY 2011
Uman Center, Storuman , June 17-19

The Lapland Fishing Festival will, for 2011, be renamed to: Lapland Pike Trophy.
This is the last year of the project Fishing Cross The Border and we must (due to economy) focus on only the pike competition this year.

But ofcoarse it´s possible to compete also for the keen fly fisherman (with huge pike flies), as well as with spin fishing rods.
